Alaska Elks Youth Camp
The Alaska State Elks Lodges send almost 200 girls and boys, ages 9 to 13, through one week summer camps every year, since 1991. Every Elks Lodge in Alaska can send needy or deserving boys and girls to the camp. This camp and transportation to and from the camp is free to the campers and their families. Our goal is to provide a fun and safe Alaskan camping experience while sharing the values of pride in America and community support.

Oregon Elks Children's Eye Clinic
The Elks Children's Eye Clinic is the major charitable project of the Oregon State Elks Association. The clinic would not be possible without the Oregon State Elks Association commitment to providing eye care for babies and children. The Elks became involved with the University of Oregon Medical School (now Oregon Health & Science University) in 1949. That year, Dr. Kenneth Swan needed a piece of equipment called an oximeter for a baby whose father was an Oregon Elk. The Oregon Elks promptly raised $2000 for the oximeter. Soon after, the Elks' continued generosity established the Elks Children's Eye Clinic.

Washington Elks Therapy Program for Children
Since 1954 the Washington Elks Therapy Program for Children has provided home-based occupational or physical therapy to children with developmental delays or physical disabilities. Services are provided at no cost to the family served.

Led by our Elks National Veterans Service Commission, the Order has long enjoyed a rewarding relationship with our Nation’s Veterans. Since 1946, our promise to all our Veterans and their families has been and continues to be “So long as there are Veterans, the Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks will never forget them.” We have faithfully kept this promise and continue to do so.
The youth of today are the leaders of tomorrow. Our young people are subjected to many influences, some of which are negative and unwholesome. An important contribution to communities is to provide positive experiences for our youth.
Elks are proud Americans who have always been proud to display and honor the Flag of our Country.
